PIC: Tried to get a shot of my bangs and side hair, which is growing out nicely. I now keep it in twists, thought about shaving it off again though.

Hey. How you doing? Your dreads are beautiful by the way. I was wanting to ask you because i was wanting to grow dreads. It seems my hair grows fast and then gets to a stopping point. do you think if is start dreads, will they make my hair grow longer and faster??? A reply would be very appreciated. Can you send your answer or comment to my above address…Thanks
Hi Jeffery! Sorry I will have to answer you here. It sounds like your hair is breaking off at a certain point but is growing just fine. Dreadlocks do not make your hair grow longer and/or faster, but the locking can greatly minimize the amount of breaking off that can occur with many hair types.
