Dread Mama Side Twist February 2009
Dread Mama Side Twist February 2009 Dread Mama Side Twist February 2009

I am so over having long hair, it is really too long. This pic does not even grasp the half of it. I would like to cut it to this length; to just below my breastbone.

ah who am I kidding? My husband likes my hair as is and would like me to grow it even longer. I probably will ^_^

I understand since I have locks that are just at the beginning of my butt bone. I also undertand that your hubby likes your hair long, but…shouldn’t he also take into considration your feelings too? When I decided to lock, I did not ask anyone about it, because it is MY HAIR to do with as I pleasee, and I didnot give a fat happy what people thought. Locking my hair was the best decision I have ever made regarding MY HAIR, and if I had followed others advise, it would have never happened. If you cut your haiar at your breastbone level it would still be long. I can only imagine the weight of it, along with the neck and back strain (even as beautiful as it is). The final choice should be yours, and I am quite sure your hubby would (or should) respect that.
Peace and blessings, and thanks for putting together this site.

Yah I feel you, but it’s not like he’s making me keep my hair this long. He just likes it really long and has asked me not to cut it. I have cut my locks before, I cut off my first set in 1997 and had very short hair for awhile and he was fine with it. He’s not just anybody, he’s not just ‘people’ he’s my husband, so his opinion matters a great deal to me. Growing my hair to floor length for him? that’s nothing, I would go to the ends of the earth for this man, for real. I am deeply loved, and I love him back equally so if it matters to him that I not cut it, I won’t.

Peace & blessings back and thanks for visiting Dread Mama! :)
