Put my dreadlocks up in a hair bun today. The higher the bun, the less heavy it feels. My buns tend to fall lower and lower throughout the day though LOL.

Trula,
I LOVE your dreads! Especially when you’ve got them wavy. I would like to do that to my dreads and I’ve never twisted my hair before. Is there a technique for twisting? Or do you recommend a website with further details?
Thanks, and keep it going, girl! You’re beautiful.

Thanks Sushila! no there is no special technique for twisting, you just take 2 bunches of dreads in the thickness you desire and twist them together. I put those non-grip, non-rubber bands (so they don’t rip my hair) on the ends to hold them together. That’s it! twist when wet, un-twist when dry and you’ve got wavy dreadlocks!
Beautiful! ..Makes me miss my locks!
