I made some plastic beads for my dreads out of blue plastic grocery bags. I’m going to work on the process, really refine my technique then make a bunch to sell. I really like these!

Tried to get a close-up of some of my cowrie shells. I sew then directly into my dreads. After awhile, a few years or sew, the threads weaken and the shells fall out. At one point in time I had over 20 shells in my locks, now I have 11. I’m thinking about adding more, [...]
